IB PYP (Primary Years Programme)
The curriculum focuses on nurturing the students’ academic, social and emotional well-being using a concept-based inquiry approach. Students are also encouraged to develop thinking, communication, research, self-management and social skills to be able to understand their role in the local and global context as part of a global community
The Primary Years Programme (PYP), spanning ages 4 to 12 (Kindergarten to Year 6), concentrates on the development of the whole child by connecting classroom learning to global realities. This programme instills strong ideas of international understanding, social responsibility, and equips students to be critical, compassionate, and informed participants in world affairs. The PYP serves as the introductory phase to the Middle Years Programme.
